The 80's, in particular, were a period of many challenges and profound changes, with the artist leaving his adolescence, entering university, leaving aside his vocation to face a Brazil plunged into a deep post-dictatorship depression. His artworks reflect uncertainty, lack of hope and are drawings, which demonstrates the artist's need to make them quickly, since this technique is his origin.
