VANITAS Series
Vanitas (in progress) revisits the classical allegory of transience through a contemporary lens.
The series reflects on anxiety, aging, and the fragility of time — themes that emerge through the anatomy of decay and the sensuality of matter in collapse.
Each painting acts as a mirror of impermanence.
Ritual gestures and somber tones evoke the symbolic space where beauty and death coexist — echoing the baroque spirit of vanitas while carrying the psychological unrest of the present.
In these works, the body is both subject and metaphor — a vessel of memory, desire, and erosion.
